Social Development and Revolution in Iran

The scholarship on the consequences of social revolutions contends that boost state capacity and strengthen state’s developmental projects. Social justice addressing needs ordinary citizens were central themes in discourse Iranian Revolution Islamic Republic emerged as post-revolutionary regime with fall monarchy Iran. In this essay, I assess performance Iran according to various development indicators, comparing pre-revolutionary regime. My examination indicators relating health, education, poverty, income inequality, housing presents more a mixed result than overall improvement has anticipated promised. Furthermore, there is evidence declines some important areas welfare provision. Based analysis, propose directions for future research outcome revolutions.
